 Outdoor Advertisements Increased 35% in Turkey


Açıkhava Reklamcıları Vakfı (ARVAK) has published Open Air in Turkey and the World Report 2021. The report of ARVAK reveals that outdoor advertisements in Turkey has been increased 35%.


Due to the pandemic, there was a 15% decline in the total turnover of outdoor advertisements in 2020. In 2021, it was observed that 35% growth was returned in this medium. It has been determined that this rate is the highest among the 30 countries examined in the Outdoor Investments Report in Turkey and in the world.

The outdoor sector's making new investments in the pandemic period and in 2021 as getting large areas and adding new units to digital outdoor are extremely important developments. In 2022, it is estimated that the outdoor turnover will increase and grow even more.

The rapid growth of digital media in Turkey and the continuous increase in its share in total investments had reduced the share of outdoor in total advertising investments. In the coming years, thanks to new investments and the diversification of outdoor units, it is expected that the ratio of outdoor in total advertising investments will increase.
